Our Beliefs
Explore our core beliefs, values, and the biblical foundation that guides everything we do.
We believe in one eternal God who created all things. He has manifested Himself to humanity as the Father in creation, the Son in redemption, and the Holy Spirit in sanctification.
Reference: Genesis 1:1, Deuteronomy 6:4
We believe Jesus Christ is God in human form. He was born of a virgin, lived without sin, died on the cross for our sins, and rose again on the third day. He ascended to heaven and will return to establish His eternal kingdom.
Reference: John 1:1-14, 1 Corinthians 15:3-4, Acts 1:9-11
We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, written by human authors under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. It is completely truthful and the final authority for faith and life.
Reference: 2 Timothy 3:16-17, 2 Peter 1:20-21
We believe people are created in God's image with inherent value and purpose. Though created good, all people have sinned and fall short of God's glory, causing separation from Him.
Reference: Genesis 1:27, Romans 3:23
We believe salvation is God's free gift, received by faith in Jesus Christ alone. We cannot earn salvation through good works or self-improvement, but only through God's grace.
Reference: Ephesians 2:8-9, Romans 6:23
We believe repentance is turning away from sin and toward Christ. This change of heart leads to transformed behavior as we follow Jesus.
Reference: Acts 3:19, 1 John 1:9
We believe in water baptism by immersion according to the command of our Lord Jesus to baptize. Following the apostolic example in the book of Acts, we baptize in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of all sins – past, present and future. We hold that baptism is essential and identifies us with Christ's death, burial, and resurrection as the old nature is buried and a new life in Christ begins.
Reference: Acts 2:38, Acts 8:16, Acts 10:48, Acts 19:5, Romans 6:3-4, Galatians 3:27
We believe the Holy Spirit empowers believers to live godly lives and understand spiritual truth. The baptism of the Holy Spirit is a supernatural experience that equips believers for effective ministry.
Reference: John 16:7-13, Acts 1:8
We believe the Holy Spirit gives spiritual gifts to every believer to build up the church and demonstrate God's power. These gifts should be exercised according to biblical guidelines.
Reference: 1 Corinthians 12:4-11, 1 Peter 4:10
We believe God continues to heal the sick today as part of Christ's redemptive work. Healing is available through prayer and faith according to God's will.
Reference: James 5:14-16, Isaiah 53:5
We believe the church is the Body of Christ, a community of believers united in faith and purpose. The church exists to worship God, nurture believers, and share the gospel with the world.
Reference: Ephesians 4:15-16, Matthew 28:19-20
We believe Jesus Christ will personally return to earth in power and glory. His return will be visible and will establish His eternal kingdom.
Reference: Matthew 24:30, 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
We believe in eternal life with God for those who trust in Christ and eternal separation from God for those who reject Him. Heaven and hell are real destinations.
Reference: John 3:16, Revelation 20:11-15
We believe in regularly observing Holy Communion as a memorial of Christ's sacrifice, reflecting on His broken body and shed blood for our salvation.
